the real talent is drums bass and guitar and singing. i don't find talent in talking because it's usually the same note pitch unlike singing where it changes all the time and goes with the other instruments. i don't see many rap bands that have a guitar player except for 16 guys on mix boards and disgracing a mic.

Diggler, Saratoga Winners is pretty cool!!! I've been there before they went to a country bar. Korn had played there, Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Prong ect. But, I know they just recently (past year) change back from country to rock bands.

maybe you country guys aren't big in this thread but look at CD sales in any major mag and you'll see that in a lot of ways you have just as many or more fans than other styles of music. Believe me in the real world you country fans are well represented.

DirtDigler i'm with you 100% on the music theroy. honestly the only music i blindly hate is country, i don't know why i just do. but recently some of the old realy country stuff isn't to bad. i can tolerate it but i just don't really like it.

yeah i asked about the PR bands cos all i know really is like pink floyd and dream theater. i really like progressive but i don't have a lot of time to look up bands and stuff, well most the time anyhow.

but ya new metal and new punk is a bunch of BS. they're just as bad as boy bands almost. just people making ****ty much to make money. it's dumb, people are abusing music and not playing it like it should. for an art, even heavy metal is art. you have any idea how hard it is to play like that! punk on the other hand was just punk, it's not to terribly complex butliek you said it was a way of life. now every highschool kid thinks that they're a sk8r/punk it's ****ing pathetic. even when i was in high school those kids woulda got their *** kicked just for being posers. not now, every ones just a poser so no one gets mad. little punk arses =(
