Does anybody know if a trx450 motor will fit on a trx250r i am going to swap the engines and ... is this worth it its a 87 with +3 chrome a-arms and chrome roll design swing arm and chrome extended axle with custom axis shocks and beadlocks all around with holeshots and bars , steering stem and stabilzer powdercoated frame with new plastics completley race ready with no rides like a hour and it has the original title for 3200

it would need some serious fab work if it would even fit!!! why not just keep the 250 motor in it??? and put a 310 esr kit in it??

Im more of a 4 stroke person im 15 never really ridden 2 strokes but it has a 270 kit and stuff

youll love the 250 more then the 450 power. and alot cheaper to work on.

Sell it and buy a 450r, cheaper and easier... plus you'd never get anything out of it, if you tried to sell it later on with a 450 motor. Most 250r guys don't want a 450 motor and most 450r guys don't want 250r geometry... You can buy 450r's for 2200 all day long, a decent condition 250r will bring that much...

You can throw a little money in that 250r motor and youll never see a 450 4 stroke you wont blow past. Not that youll come across anyway. Like said above, throw a 310 kit in it and a good head and pipe and youll be lucky to hold on to it. lol.
All your young friends will prob make fun of you for riding a 87 model.. . untill they ride it and see that it handles better and is Way faster than their new 4 stroke.
