little valve help

i just cleaned all the carbon off of my valves and the top of my piston with steal wool.... what can i spray on the to get the little partcals clean ad everything thing would break cleaner work??? would i be able to tell a difference with what i did in anyway ?? please reply with comments thank you

id have to say WD-40 and some elbow grease with a clean rag to get rid of the stuff the brush didnt get...if some WD-40 didnt dry when u put it in, it will burn no problem you would think.

i was told to use carb cleaner.but i gave it to the machine shop to do along with my cyclinder.
