Hey everyone I never been on the 400ex part of the forum but was just wondering if sombody could measure there stock 400ex swing arm from the center of the pivot bold the the center of the axel

400ex is the same length as 04/05 450r swingarms.

I'v been looking around for a shortened swing arm for my 450r and heard the 400ex one fits so thought id see how long it is if it bolts right up

do a research... i'd see that the 400ex SA is ½'' shorter than the 450r 04-05, but u'll probably need all the rear end, cause the carrier is shorter on the 450r by 1/8 or something like that!! Maybe u should just grab another 450r SA and cut it!!

I'm pretty sure the 400 swinger is 18.25" from center to center.
