when i bought my 450r the guy gave me a set of fmf jets for it, are they any good for using on my 06er with a uni filter and no airbox lid and the exhaust core removed? if so what jetting/needle position is recomended?

im not real comfortable with the dyno jets, but the fmf are using dyno, I personally like the keihin with NVQC needle I think that's the needle number,,, its a Yamaha needle,
and with your mods with stock exhaust and a uni with no lid at 3000' or under, pump gas, then main should be around 162-165 pilot around 48,
off ebay XC Bobs sells a nice kit that will have all the jets that you should need, I think its around $45 with the needle ....if you got the needle alone its around 17 and it has about 8 different jets
but if you choose to use the fmf goggle dyno to keihin conversion for the size difference
