hey i was wondering what kinda k&n filter would fit best on the ltr450 i mean i no the ones that are made for it would work but for say would a z400 or another machine work better with a modded airbox i plan on buying a adapter plate so it will work....

i heard of people putting 400 ex k&n on them because they said the 400ex k&n filter has a piece for the intake boot to clamp too. do do this you have to get rid of the stock air box or modify it. did it with mine but i used a little piece of pipe and a 400ex twin air filter to clamp to the pipe which clamps to my stock intake tube.
