ive heard you can run an xr cam in the 400. does anyone know the gains and losses of it? also is it a drop in or would it require new arms. thanks for the info everyone im just doin some research.

supposedly it is a decent stock cam for the 400. it is a bit more duration than the stock 400 one and a bit less than the hot cam stage 1. just hear say though, ive never really found anyone that used one.

It's a little more aggressive than the stock 400EX cam, but if you are going through the effort of swapping cams I don't think you'll notice much of a difference for it to be worth it. You would see a bigger performance increase jumping straight to a stage 1 Hotcam....which is still by the way a very mild cam. And yes it would drop right in btw.
