I am about to purchase a PRM Chassis Skid for my 400ex and need a little help. I just noticed that its available in .125, and .190 thick on their site. Now I know the .190 is stronger, but I don't know if its more than what I need or not? I mostly ride MX, but I want skids for those times that I hit the trails...I already destroyed my stocker, so I don't know if I should go for the .190 thick one or not. What do you guys think?

where i ride it is SUPER DUPER ROcky and i went with the .190. its still holding up damn good and i have abused it pretty bad over the last 6 months.

the frame one i have is .125 and that has held up good as most contact is with the skid plate.

if your only hitting roots and dirt the .125 should do you fine.
