what size fuse goes in the little box like 10inches down the wire from the battery

also.i believe my lights are blowing this fuse when they are on high. Any idea why? There was a 30amp fuse in it

you first need to check headlight housing to see if theres any wires that are cut open or rubbed coating to bare wire then if thats not it start tracing wire to battery to fuse then wire from fuse to where it goes. then you,ll find your problem.You basicly need to check your wiring to see whats shorting out and blowing fuse !

Im pretty sure its a 15amp fuse. If has a 30 in there then something is shorting out on the quad causing the fuse to blow and someone put a bandaid there with the larger fuse.

It is a 15 amp fuse that should be in there. And DO check the right side rubber boot where the wires go in behind the headlight. Pull it off and inspect the wires inside. The metal bracket coming off the steering stem that holds the front brake line tends to rub against the headlight boot which in turn will chafe the wires through. The wire will then short out against the metal socket in the headlight and continually blow the 15 amp fuse.

The headlight housing boot on the right is kind of slipped off.
