I'd ask this in the power train forum but I need asap answer please.
1999 suzuki quadrunner 500 all time 4x4 when fast accelerating or when trying to climb/pull something and slowing down fast the front diff makes a horrible clicking/grinding sound.. sounds like something is slipping. The front wheels aren't getting power to them either. the front drive shaft coming from the motor going into the front diff is spinning fine but something in the diff is not making the 2 front axles spin. what could this be? Is my whole front diff dead or just bearings? please help asap I have today off and would like to get it figured out.
also will any other front diffs or front diff bearings fit into this atv? Local shop has no quadrunner parts but has plenty of Polaris and Yamaha parts.
Thanks,
Mike
