Should I put a sparks key in my quad ?

If you dont plan on bumping up the compression to 11:1 then yea you should do it. Very cheap but good mod.

If you want to bump the comp up and use the key you will need to run 100 octane or better.

Yea I want be doing that stuff till my motor goes lo. So you would recomend it I read on the forum how to do it and it seems like a lot of trouble for a lil power

Its rather easy if you have the right tools and some mechanical ability.

Go for it, its cheap and easy.

i had just recently put one in mine but the problem was that when you order the timing key it dosent come with the case gasket so i had to use rtv makes me a lil nervious hasnt broke yet but i would do it it helps a little bit but order a gasket!!!!

RTV wont matter so much on that side of the case b/c unlike the other side with the clutch tab on it the clearances arent that huge a deal. I prefer RTV, but sometimes it makes the seal to thick.

exaactly gets blochy in spots and will leak if you dont put it on good i prefer to have gasket for the fact that you dont c black stuff around your case also you know a gasket will and should sustain a full seal all around the case
