hmf pipe wont fit?

i bought an hmf exhaust for my 06 700 raptor some time ago off a guy on craigslist. it was a few mths before i even tried to put it on and it didnt fit. do u have to run an aftermarket head pipe with them or something. it bolts up but the pipe wont conect to the head pipe. is there differnt years or something? thanks

There is a short adaptor pipe needed to run an HMF slip on with the stock headpipe. If you run the HMF header, this piece is not needed.

The guy should have included this in the sale.
