I recently added a Moose air filter and Motoworks slip-on. I currently have 150main/42pilot. When I called Motoworks for jetting recommendations, they said stock jetting was fine for the 400ex?:huh (air box lid on)

Theyre full of ****. your jetting sounds good. pilot might be one size to big when it gets warm out. but sounds pretty good the way it is for the cold

i say that you should be good to go with the lid on if you are 1500 feet or more above sea level. I never had any issues with that. if you are below 1500 you could probably go 152 or so and be fine. put the f/a screw at 2.5 turns out also and leave the needle alone.
I recommend a 150 90% of the time.

that is not stock jetting...
if it is that cold, def run a 152 at least till it warms up again. that is more of a summer jetting setting.

hes not running a lid though so it will be significantly less that a 160. max would be a 155 for super super cold stuff.
also, glad to hear you got your machine dialed in. keep that 158 and 155 around for summer. :D
