A-arm questions

Is a 250R's front end the same as a 400ex's, can I use longer and wider a-arms that are off of a 250R? Also what size tubing do most of the manufactures that make the a-arms use. If I cant find me a set of wider a-arms for my 400 I am thinking about making some, so any info would be helpful. Also on the longer shock set ups that people are using, what is the length of the shocks that are being used, from center of eye to center of eye and what is the compressed lengh from center of eye to center of eye.

a 250r frontend will work on a 400ex.

the suspension question depends on what you want to run for suspension. since your talkin long travel you are going to end up gettin a 19 inch long shock. you can also get 16 inch long shocks too. its all in what you want. those are the two definet shock lengths for long travel.
