Well, it sucks. I got the FMF titanium 4 exhaust with powerbomb headers and I took the clamp off the canister and found a nice hole. You can probably for one good size finger through it and o can pull packing out of it. I don't hace the money for another exhaust so what would my options be?
I was thinking if I could find a stainless steel welder to see If he could weld a patch on there bit I'm not 100% sure if you can weld the exhaust because FMF said it wasnt recommended. What's my choices here?

call fmf. Usually they will sell you just the outer sleeve of the canister that you can just rivet on.

Yea I already did give them a call by they don't make the canister anymore so I can't get another sleeve

ah, weld it then, no reason it cant be welded, its just stainless. Could probably find a welder to do it for less than $50

I would weld it. FMF does not want you to weld it cuz they want you to buy another one. I good welder can take care of it.

Yea I figured they wanted me to buy another one. I'm looking rigt now for a stainless steel welder. You wouldn't know a estimate on how much it would be would you?

JB weld it, sand it down and paint it and no one will know the difference.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Thanks! but is there any way you could help me on the rattling problem? It's in a separate thread in this forum.

A weld shop would most likely tig weld it. Most shops charge around 70 bucks an hour. But like the other dude said, try apoxy first. If it does not work, you can always grind it off.

I can tig weld it and make it look nice if you want to send it to me. maybe $20 and I will provide the metal. PM me if you are interested.

I'll get back to you if this guy can't weld it locally.
