Powercore 4 Slip On

My titanium 4 is outdated and I need to update on my exhaust. I have the powerbomb header and FMF told me to go with the powercore 4 with the header and I was wandering on what you guys think? I would get sparks but don't have the cash. How's the sound of the powercore 4 and how much gains would it give If any?

Idk bought the fmf my buddy had one on his 125 and I didn't care 4 the looks sounded ok..but I really like my hmf its loud but not to bad unless your constantly on it wide open.

Yeah if I had the money I would get a sparks or HMF because theres alot of good reviews on them. I just didn't want to spend the money for another whole system because I already got the powerbomb header.

I'm not sure but I think I've read somewhere that the hmf slip on will fit on a powerbomb header. I'm probably wrong but I could of swore I seen it wrote on somebodys signature.

that combo will work. any slip on will work with the powerbomb since it has the same diameter end as the stock header.

my vote goes to the q4 by fmf. great quiet exhaust.

Wow I actually didn't know that. So your saying I can put in any slip on onto my fourwheeler with the powerbomb header on? What gains would I see compared to the header that is supposed to be with he exhaust?

probably close to the same hp numbers. might be slightly less.

I guess before i say any... alot of them will fit. hmf, pro circuit, and numerous others will work. Im sure there may be one that wouldnt work.

dont think it will since you cant get just a slip on from them. that comes a full setup or nothing.

something like an hmf, pc t4, fmf q4, lexx, and a few others will work since they are designated slip ons. Im willing to bet that you could run a Pro circuit header also since that is made to work with the slip on not a full exhaust. the power bomb is nice since it helps to keep it quieter with the extra core in it and doesnt hurt power. Ill be running one this summer most likely. if you dont want to buy a header, just grind out the welds on your stock one. that in itself will help a bit.

just the header part. that is the full one. there are some others made by off brand companies that you have to run a midpipe with.

ill edit it to take it out since the full part doesnt have to be in there. doesnt really concern the pipes we are talking about.

im not sure on the diameters of the p c or the fmf headers. I would probably vote to say that both will result in just about the same hp.

Im not a fan of hmf i guess. others love them. I would rather see someone run a quiet exhaust and see slightly less hp than have a loud one and irritate others for miles around when you want to go ride.

I know what you mean but I like it when it's loud and has good hp gains. But I have the powerbomb header and I'm pretty sure I have a midpipe also.

i believe and HMF slip on will bolt right to the powerbomb header. thats probably the best combo IMO.

And what's the difference between the regular slip on compared o the competition series?

Any slip-on exhaust should work with a powerbomb header. The powerbomb header is the same diameter and is also in the same location at the same angle as a stock header.

I have ran the FMF Powercore 4 slip-on then ran it with the powerbomb header. It was a good combo, felt like it had the most low-mid range torque of any exhaust combination that I have ran.

I am currently running the powerbomb header with a White Bros E series slip on. It seems to be the best that I have found.

Ok cool but did you ever test out a HMF slip-on? And your header connects to a midpipe and then the tip right?

I have never ran an HMF exhaust and do not plan to. They seem to make decent power but I do not usually like the sound and also their mufflers seem to fall apart rather quickly.

Anyways, if an HMF slip-on will bolt up to a stock header then it will work.

Every slip-on exhaust should work with a powerbomb header.

check out a Motoworks slip-on. I just put one on, it sounds awesome, but haven't rode much with it because of the weather.

HMF's make very good power both slip on and Full system. i would never run any of those other exhausts. Either HMF or Sparks are the only way to go for the 400's. I promise you wont have a single complaint. :macho
