Anybody seen this dirtbike before?

It a yankee z500 twin ! it was made in 72-73 for enduro racing this would be a cool motor to put in atv frame IMO but would be hard to get parts for that for sure but they still ride them .

You must have just watched american pickers also. They said it was super rare, so it would be kind of a shame to tear it about to build a hybrid. Itd love to have one, but I be cr500 makes more power than it does due to technology.

ya a cr500 will make tons of power, and its a small lightweight motor.

Idk about kawi, but most of the triples I see are Arctic Cats. Ton of snowmobile triples out west in the drags.

kawi makes the motors for arctic cat. its a triple 900

guy who sponsors me locally called me over to his shop someone dropped off a 1986 yamha 4 cylinder 2 stroke streetbike had custom made pipes all hand made thing was like a museum piece. they were only made in canada and out of the country pipes were made by a guy in australia etc etc etc nsane. but i would love to kick it over and take it out on some back roads haha sounded like a 125 starting gate

ya there are still quite a bit of the old two stroke street bikes out there still. i work on about 1 a month. i seen a cz 500 two stroke twin, went pretty fast for a '76
