????

I know that the sprocket hubs are pressed on, but did any of you have to remove the lockin ring prior to have the sprocket hub pressed off or did it come off when the hub was pressed off?

I am taking it off because one of the sprocket arms got bent.

What is the easiest way to get the locking ring off?

first try warmin it upa lil & pressing it the wrong way a tad bit (it may move a lil ) ...then use external snap rings pliers to remove it ,if that does not work try using 2 lil dental picks to get under the ring to get it out of the clip slot ...then press the hub off..
...this is what worked for me....let me know how it goes..
