trans needle bearings

Is the needle bearing installed flush with the cvt side of the case or up against the snap ring behind it.............I thought it was flush with the case but it has been a week or so since I took it apart and I'm not home to look at the gear for marks.....memory isn't what it was

Flush with the edge of the case, gap to the seal, sealed bearing on outside

Invest a couple extra bucks in the double wide bearing. Marc at Hotquads will hook you up. If you plan on MX or aggressive riding, the bearing is less likely to fail and destroy your gears and cases. My .02,,, your hundreds of $$$.

Took me 3 sets of gears (with the slipper sprockets) and two cases before I switched. So far so good...
