now im not sure if anyone on here has experience with sway bars, for like tt or flat track racing. but i was wondering if a sway bar would fit my 450 off of a predator. i dont know how these things mount really, so im in the dark.

They should fit if the sway bar has adjustable clamps. What kind of sway bar?

its a durablue.
and thanks alot!
what do you think a reasonable price would be, its a few years old and its been used. buddy who was supposed to buy my 440 got a predator that was oval track raced. so he wants to get rid of the nos and sway bar. since i do flattrack im thinking about buying it off him.

Thanks

Hey, if your going to be racing TT with your 450, I have a -2 swingarm and a +2 anti vibe stem with the bumpstops cut. I also have some beadlocks with hoosiers. Shoot me a PM. Thanks,MJ

Wouldn't the swaybar be nearly the same as this???

If it is, then wouldn't it be universal?

Is there something about mounts on a predator that are different than any other quad?

see, thats what i cant figure out. on the durablue website, the part number for the trx and pred are slightly different. and the one for the trx says its for a 06-09 :s i think i'lll just email them.

and they will say that it wont bolt up. RMATV says that it will...Been through it all.

Yes the 06 and up TRX sway will bolt up to the 04-05 but not without some bending, prodding, and smashing with a hammer.

im not sure why you had to use a hammer :s
i bought the sway bar td and it m ounted up just fine. not smashing or bending.
moved the aarm mounts out about 2 inches and the rods all the way to the back. works just fine.
the only thing i can think of that might of helped, was i put 20 washers on the bolt going through the shock, that way the rod is almost straight up and down, going right between the shock and brake lines

ohhh, i see.
you have the front lowering links in.
i don;t have mine in yet, so that will probably change where the rods have to be.

instead of putting 20 washers in just put one craftsman socket in there fits around the bolt and provides the clearance for the shock

i have a dura blue on a 04 and it fits right on to an 06+with no bending or hammering

why would i put a socket in there when the washers work just fine.
and with my luck, that would be the socket i need for something.

well its just nicer when u take it off they dont spill everwhere and lots of times washers will warp and stuff when you tighten down the bolt

and you can get indivdual sockets at sears or just buy a crappy set of 12 points and take some
