This has got me stumped...

I have an 03 300ex that has served me well for these past years. As of late I have noticed that once I hit fifth gear it putters while attempting to accelerate. I am not sure if it would be possible that this could an issue with the on-board computer? I have checked the carb/jetting, all appears clean. Cleaned the air filter thinking that it might just be a air delivery issue.

So what do you guys think:confused:

i had a sort of similar problem like that and i did a valve adjustment on it and it ran much better.

hondatrxrider07 is on the right path. If you havn't changed anything (like exhuast or air filter) then start with the valves. Also make sure that your air boot and carb is tight.

id try a new plug mine did the same thing b4 but it was in 4th and 5th but not 1st -3rd and i went through everythign just to fine it was a bad spark plug
