Rear shock reservoir <> Exhaust

I'm almost finished rebuilding my 250r, but I can't find a good spot for my rear shock reservoir. The line to the reservoir is very short, and the only place where it fits is very close to the exhaust... about 1/3th of an inch.

Could this be a problem or shouldn't I worry about it ?

It should mount under the left rear fender. How long is your shock line? Under 1 foot? I believe you may have a ATC shock and the line is much shorter than on the TRX

The shock is one of an older type YZ250 dirt bike.
I have JP Outlaw frame with a no link setup. Therefor I cannot use the original shock.
The shock line is about 7" long.

I believe your options would be mounting it where you said earlier, next to the exhaust. Or get a longer line and mount it in the original location.

see if you cant get a stock shock and take the line from it, i bet it would fit. if that doesnt work find a hydraulic shop locally and have them fab you a new line.
