I have a 97 300ex.Pretty much stock. It has a 350x airbox boot and the header pipe welds are ground. And it is rejeted with a uni filter.

My buddy has a new 400ex.And I know I am not going to be able to beat him or even come close.I just don't want to be dust in the wind like I am now. There is a 400 carb for a decent price right now.And I was wondering if it would be worth it I know people run them on modded 300's and 330's.I will probably add a t-4 slip on whenever I get the carb.So what do you guys think will it work?

Thanks.

It will make a difference, it will make more of a difference with a different exaust and a better air filter. If you do more mods, it will only improve. Just make sure its jetted right.

Well it's like this.I got 400 dollars to put into my 300.no internal motor work.Still runs to good to see taking it apart.

I wouldn't mind getting a pro-circuit t-4 complete.That would be all my money.And I ride some places that I really don't want a loud pipe.(kinda gotta sneak around sometimes)

Right now I am thinking new new tires and skids.Stuff to get it back in decent shape.
