crf kickstart assembly work 4 trx?

ive seen where its a lot cheaper to get the kickstart assembly off of a crf 450r instead of a trx450r but my question is does anyone know if it can be used on the trx450r if so what year crf's are interchangeable with what year trx's?

no!!!!! I think some of the gears are the same but im not sure, check a micro fishe to check all parts

I'm pretty sure the CRF is reverse kick. With the TRX being forward, I doubt anything would swap.

Yep didn't even think about the opposite kick direction thing, guess I was blinded by the idea of saving lots of $ lol
