has anyone read these yet.

if you read the rule for the new open class is says it will be production, which means motor must match frame so no mods yet. But it also states that this will be the only class allowed to have any shifter bikes. so everyone buying the new yamaha or pitster may want to investigate as you may not be legal in your current class.

At the meeting the intent was conveyed that Pittster, Apex 85 shifter and Cobra would be limited to the open class. Carrie Joe, Jeff and another official were leaving the Honda and Yamaha alone. Carrie Joe did say that that if she noticed the Yamaha was running lap times like Cobras and Apex Shifters they would go to that class as well.
I don't know if the rule change was an oversight in wording or if they have changed their minds.

We need to get in touch and get some clarification

h. 90 Open: (71-90cc 2-Strk; 75-125cc 4-Strk) production models. Shifter, Automatic and CVT models eligible. Shifter models restricted to this class.

when they word it like this even if not the intention it makes yamahas and pitsters inelegible for all other classes.

GNCC is working on this problem...Cobras,Pitsers, and Apex shifters will be restricted to the open classes. Yamas, hondas, cvts will have a choice.
