View Full Version : Is the 440 no good??

I heard that the 440 upgrade is not good in lower RPMs is this true??? Also is it as reliable as stock? Thanks:macho

i have no problem with power in the low RPM's.the 440 produces plenty of low end torque.the 440 is meant to give it more power in this area where the 416 is meant to rev quicker.any motor with any mods is not going to be reliable that stock but the 440 kit is a very reliable kit.just change your oil a little more often than you will have no problems;)

I love my 440! The low end power in great, We do some hill climbs, pretty steep stuff, and I have not been underpowered yet. As far as the reliabity do like crday98 said, change your oil a little more often and you will be fine. I have never heard of a 440 going bad.

where u get that pic of that quad from it looks nice...

People say the 416, and 406 are better trial machines then a 440 because they don't overheat as easy... i have the 406 and my quad so far to me is all lowend and mid range and it has a nice top end to it but it seems to not be as strong as the ohters.
