New Yfz Clutch lever isn't working?

I just installed a new clutch and clutch cable for my Yfz450.

First of all the cable is really tight but there's little play in the lever.

Second the arm on the engine end of the clutch cable isn't returning all the way after the clutch is pulled.

Third the new clutch has an electrical cable and a little knob that is pressed when the clutch is let out. I don't know where to plug in the electrical or what the purpose of this even is.

My Yfz is an 04 and both these parts are for the 04 directly from Yamaha.

the electrical connector acts like a kill switch or fail safe. if the clutch is not pulled in while starting the bike when the bike is in gear the bike will not crank correct me if im wrong guys but i think you can just cut the wires and cap them..if those two wires touch the bike might not start when in gear...hope this helps a little.
