Well today I changed the plug in the 400 and I'm pretty sure I tightened it down properly. After about 2 hours of good riding, you can hear air seeping through the plug hole. So I checked the plug and it was loose?

How is it working itself loose??

could have had a small rock or the washer on the plug could have been off center so it tightened down but then flattened out after riding and made it loose.

Yeah and I hate where those darn plugs are, so tough to get to and tighten up unless you take all the plastics and tank off which I don't plan on doing.

I have the Honda spark plug tool so it should be gettin tightened enough.

I went out to ride today so I started my quad and the faulty plug blew out! So I got pissed and decided to change the plug. I didn't have any new ones but I had an old one laying around that still had good spark.

I put that in and so far no problems. Steve, it must've been that washer!

they can get you every time lol freaking stupid crush washers on them... there has to be a better way to do them than that but oh well. one day i can engineer a decent plug.
