nope will bolt right on, i have a clutch out of a crf450 dirtbike and it fot right on

one more question is there any difference between the crf450r clutch and the crf450x i read something that the clutch covers were different but are the internals the same

just wanted to also note that i am talking about rekluses z-start pro auto clutch if that matters

im not sure but just would think that the springs on the crf would be lighter than the trx just because of more weight to turn. Idk if it being a rekluse would work differently or if they use springs but just my experience with a stock clutch

just bought a used z start pro from a buddy for $300.00 installed and after riding it around after 10 min. i realized this thing is worth every penny best mod yet thanks for all the help everybody

Does it still pull off the line like a conventional clutch?

yes it pulls as soon as you hit the throttle and more consistantly then a conventional clutch you get to keep your clutch lever it feels weird but is still usable even though you dont need it

this thing is so awesome you can be in 4th gear and lock up the brakes and it will not stall its almost like cheating
