Differences from 09 to 11 YZF450R

I have been looking around to see if they have actually changed anything on the quads. All I can tell is the plastic colors. Does anyone have any information if they are the exact same quad just new year different colors?

My mechanic that works on my yfz was just talking to me about this the other weekend. They are the same as when they first came out, they haven't changed anything. They are selling the '09's up here for 4999, that's how it came up because I was thinking about buying one.

Thanks for the response. Thats what I have come up with also just from diggin on the web. No point in going brand new unless you want the SE colors. Dealers up near me in Wa have some left over as well. I like the 09 white/red colors they have one left hopefully I can grab one of those up.

NO. Nothing has changed on the bikes with the exception of the YFZ450x being a narrower gncc style width. Different plastic and graphics is all.

There are 2 differences.

1. The paint job

2. The color of the shock coils

And that's all I have to say about Vietnam.
