I don't understand tire and rim stuff

I'm trying to buy new tires for my Yfz450, without buying new rims since I really like mine, but I don't know if a 18x10-8 tire will fit on my stock 04 rims. They are in perfect condition and I don't need or want aftermarket rims. Anyways I really could use the help. The tires are maxxis razr cross. Thanks.

(overall height of tire) x (overall width of tire) x (diameter of the rim to be mounted on). Those tires are designed to mounted on 8 inch rims. Your stock Yamaha rims are 9 inch. So you will need to find a tire that has 9 as the last number.

you dont want 18 in tires on rear if your trail riding ,18,s are for track use and lower rear of quad not good for trails(rocks/sticks). you want 20x9x11 rear and 22x10x7 fronts .you have 10in front rims and 9in rims in rear Im pretty sure.But if your planning on racing MX your gonna need to get rear rims at 8in,s for 18,s .
