Been thinking about putting some money into the quad. I've never rode nor know anyone with it on their quad. I ride a wide variety of trails some track and love to jump the quad.

I could only imagine that it makes the biggest difference jumping but does it help a lot with trail riding? How much more travel do you get out of the shocks? Thanks guys.

smoother ride, more stability, better performing suspension. ussually u gain about 3-4 inches of travel with longtravel shocks which can make a huge difference.

A lot of people say that long travel is a waste of money. I've owned Elka regulard travel and Elka long travel. The long travel is worlds better, XC or MX. Anymore, there are enough decent priced used long travel parts around to avoid laying down all that money, might have to have the shocks rebuilt or revalved.

Long travel is best if you know how to adjust it well
