If that's a stock 250R swingarm then it has out performed many many years over what was expected..time to get aftermarket..

yea that was a stock 88 swingarm. it has been on countless pit rides, and 2 seasons of beating on it racing. It has also survived many hard landings off of my ramp. my Lsr axle is tweaked, and my hub is slightly tweaked. I went sideways off a jump and hit a wall, there were bleechers behind the wall, and my front tire repelled off of one pole but my axle caught. i was 3rd wide over the jump, (it was a quad wars jump), nothing big. Ive always wanted a aftermarket swingarm, but dont want the weight , i liked how light the stock swingarm was. Tomorrow im ordering a gibson.

Thats what i was thinkin. I figured like a small crack, not pieces missing. Time to get a new one, or aftermarket. IT would probably be cheaper to get a stronger aftermarket.

Our 86 on my dad's quad is hanging on well. Haven't had a single problem....

guess what :( ,I broke mine awhile back ..
no pics rt now tho ...it was only a small crack & now the swingarm is on the "wall of parts" that have been destroyed here..
I knew something had to give way after passing over the lander & dropping like 20 ft :huh
I was amazed i was able to hangon :D
