pretty sure it is, id much rather have a walsh front end for 1500 then spend 2400 no doubt its nice but def not necessary

Newer style ball joints offer more travel so the t-pin front end isn't as necessary. I'm sure it's still pimp to own but the weight and price aren't justified. I could be wrong, but that's what I heard.

Back when Laeger came out with this setup it was the ultimate. It had no binding issues and lasted quite well. Back then the balljoints that were being used were automotive tipe and did not hold up. I personally bent quite a few balljoints and even snapped one into on a double. The protrax frontend still would be a good setup but weight and price definantly are an issue. They are also expensive to rebuild the best I remember.

I have had 3 of these and still race with one. they are easy and cheap to rebuild now . it is still the most buletproof design. and actually don't weigh that much. they have evolved through the years and are not the exact same design.

I have been running the same T-pin since 05 and it is the only thing I haven't had break. It was spendy but the reliabilty over the years has made it worth it for me.
