used shocks?

hey...im looking on ebay for used shocks because new is just too much for me right now. here my question.. they have a few different ones in my range but some have res's and some dont. what do you think of shocks without them? im still stepping up from stock, right? so it will be a good thing? any input will be appreciated. i dont know much about shocks. just getting curious because im tired of getting my @ss kicked on the track!! thanks

Depends on what kind of riding you do. If you are just trail riding and not racing then w/o rezzies will be fine. But if you are going to do any racing I would definetly go with rezzies.

how much man? i ride everywhere. but i want something i can ride mx and eventually race if i can get better. but its hard to practice all of the time when you get beat up so bad!!!
