topend issue??

While idling the other day something in the topend started vibrating or even sounds like something bouncing around up top. just curious of a few things it could be before i take it to someone. the bike still runs but i havent ridden it any.

timing chain is real loose. anyone know if i can do anything to the tensioner to maybe tighten it up without having to order anything. time is limited atm.

pull the tensioner out and see if its working right. ive have 3 fail on my 06

Yeah common problem. I replace mine every 6 months if i had rad a bunch of races. every year if i had just been casual riding. It can be bad if it jumps time or breaks and binds up in the bottom so its not bad to put changing it on your Maintenance list
