Trying to get a starting point on setting up a set of fox float x shocks jb a arms rider is 65pounds what air pressure should we start with mx racing

doesnt fox have set up specs on there website?
beyond there guidelines it would be a rider preference and ability
setups are trickie!

25~30 is a good starting point. The air adjusts your ride height. Be sure to set it up with your rider on the quad.

need to know what front and rear tires your running to give you the spec.

Ran 30psi in ours all year with JB stuff and all the different tires we use, worked perfect.

30 psi for us is a little high. you will be inflating the sleeve to the point of near "topping" the shock i found that much pressure didnt allow the bike to "settle" and transfer weight to the rear for traction. We run about 26 pounds.

front tires are 19x6x10 maxxis 3/2 offset rears are 18x7x8 dwt 4/2 offset

We run 25 in our fronts.

No issues at all for us with 30psi, Our shocks were set up and maintained by Harold Goodman mostly and most know he is meticulous with set up, worked out very well.

I also have a lightly used set of Fox front and rear shocks for sale, all have High AND Low Speed adjusters as well if anyone needs a set for JB Racing suspension.

you may be correct. are shocks have a "little extra" stuff done by fox and my settings may be specific to our shocks. I dont think you can go wrong with between 25-30 max.
