Just as the title says. Im about to powdercoat the wheels and hubs on my CRF but im nervous about respoking them correctly. Any tips or tricks. Ive always been a quad guy so this 2 wheeled stuff is a whole new ballgame to me.

Take a few pictures of the wheels before you disassemble them so that you can see the spoke pattern

There is quite a few good writeups over on thumpertalk, I suggest you go become a member and do a search for them.

You will need a build a jig to hold the wheel and you will need a spoke wrench. And a few long and boring hours.

I did it on my Yz and I'll never do it again.:blah:

But check out Thumper Talk they have a lot of articles about it. Good luck!:macho

never done big bike wheels, but ive done 50s and 110s. the 10" is easy as hell. and the 14"/ 12" on the 110s are difficult. something i don't look forward to doing.

its usually over $100 to have it done at a shop. Not worth it in my opinion because it really is very easy to lace and true a wheel. Just take your time, once you do it once it will be very easy every other time.
heres a few links to get you started...
