440 motor? whats it worth?

how much is a rebuilt cannondale 440 speed motor worth? i might be parting out my speed? just wondering what i could get for it?

"Rebuilt" doesnt really mean anything in the Cannondale world . Its all about exactly what updates were done ,what parts were installed and what type of training the builder had .
A good running engine with no updates is worth $500+
Nonrunning with no updates $200+
Fully updated stocker with the dozen or so vital checks made and corrected,z bearing crank , old style cams ,aluminum water pump impellars and valve cover. $1500+
Fully updated with performance parts and dyno tuned well over 50 horse go for $2000 to $3000+ depending on the goodies.

If you tell us more about the engine in very good detail we might be able to hook you up with a buyer.

its a 2002 cannondale 440 motor.z400 berring,new piston,rings,sleeve,and everything.thats all i no as of now,motor is getting rebuild as we speak.ill update you guys asap.i might just sell it all together? idk yet.i want to get 2500 for the quad,so i think i could get that?heres a picture of it and the motor
