That part just gave me a WOOD-EEE! lol

I'm assuming that is the Pattern that will be used to make the CASTINGS ?

What is the NEW machine he has ? Is it a CNC Milling Machine ?

Or one of those new fangled Thermal Printers ?

It's gonna be amazing to see the NEW parts that ESR makes in the future to return the all mighty 250R to the scene!!!

Thanks Charlie,

So when Eddie gets the castings back from the foundry he uses that machine to Drill & bore all the holes to make the cases.

Really cool stuff!

THANK YOU ESR!!! Thank you for your attempt in keeping this iconic machine alive!

I can only hope that they will offer not only the cases but also quick change clutch covers, gears, etc.

A bonus would be to have some of these parts in anodized colors and chrome!

No chroming or polishing needed. All we will need is a can of Pledge Lemon scented cleaner.

From my understanding, that CNC is to machine casting molds.
$320,000.00 dollars worth sitting there, came in first of Dec.

Yeah it's all good until you take it in the woods and the termites get ahold of it.

I spoke with Tom yesterday at ESR. He said they should be getting the first casting in about a week or so. Then all they will have to do is set the program to machine it.

Now, don't quote me on this, but Tom said that he thought Eddie was going to sell these quick change covers for $200. And he was also planning on selling the 8 plate clutch, basket, pressure plate, and quick change cover, (the whole shebang) for $599.

If that is the case, that is an awesome deal! For $200, I will definitely be taking one.

Just thought I would pass on this info.

I just got my ESR quick change cover back from the wood shop! I'm stoked I had it "Petrified" so its hard as a rock. No Pledge needed or Termite issues!! I reccomend that everyone go that route. It takes quite a while they had mine for around 5000 years, but if you get it in there quick your turn around time shouldn't be too bad!! LOL
