'89 KX125 build

Hi Pappy,

I am in the process of redoing my '89 KX125 dirtbike and would like to get a quote on having the following parts powedercoated.

Items to be KX Green (or as close to it as possible, solid, non-metallic. I didn't see a color close to this in your colors thread, but do you have it or can you get it?)
-Frame
-Subframe
-Rear shock spring

Items to be Light Metallic Silver (or something close to it)
-2 small handlebar clamps
-Upper and lower triple trees (does the stem have to be removed from the lower portion or can you tape it off?)
-2 foot pegs
-2 small engine brackets
-Swingarm (how much for you to remove the bearings?)
-Rear shock linkage

Also, does your price include return shipping?

Sounds good Ken. Do you have any pics of what the green and silver look like? Also, do your prices including blasting/stripping the parts? Nothing is powdercoated right now - everything still has the original paint on it or what's left of the paint.

The green I use is what we have used as a kawi green for years, its about as close a match as there is. There should be pics in my colors thread stickied above

Once I pull the engine, radiator and swingarm, I will get the parts sent your way.

The only thing close I saw in the New Colors thread was Granny Smith Green and I'm not really wanting a metallic, unless you can do it as a solid.

Also, is there an extra charge for the chrome PC and which would you recommend, chrome PC or a metallic silver?

Naa its not the granny smith, its an actual solid green, lime green but matches very well. They offer a kawi green now but I suspect its just repackaged lime green.

If its a stock type silver with a bit fof flash I would stick with one of the metalic silvers, probably one of the stock harley davidson colors that they offer these days.

I will be shipping you the items in the following pics today. The parts in the first pic will all be metallic silver. I think you gave me prices for everything except for one piece to the handlebar clamp and a piece to the rear brake assembly (I forgot I needed to send these).

Can you also let me know how much to PC the stand in the second pic? It will be KX/lime green.

Maybe you can just provide one price for everything...

those kx's are great i had a 1990 post pics when done... while you have it apart upgrade that plastic water pump gear to a newer kx 125 or 250 metal gear well worth it
