Gotta show this off...

Well guys... here is my project of three years. Still not done yet, just waiting for the little touch up things, and tweaks.

Its a 1979 Chevrolet Monza Spyder

Weight: 2879lb

Engine: Small Block Vortec 350

Carb: Edelbrock Thunder Series

Intake: Edelbrock Intake

Cam: Edelbrock Cam to match the intake and carb.

Air Filter: K&N Style CAI

Headers: Sanderson Custom Shorties

Exhaust: 3in to the back with a Cherry Bomb Glass Pack. ( i plan to remove it and go with a high quality exhaust, the cherry bomb just got the car rolling. and i had it laying around )

Tranny: Burg-Warner T50 5-speed. I love this tranny because of the non-traditional shift patter.

I love those little cars! The monza and the vega are some of the best cars to make drag cars out of. Super light and you can stuff a huge engine into them.

Little thing will burn the tires in first and second gear without hesitation, with 2.53's in the posi rear end. Can't wait to get the 3.23's in the thing... then it will be really going through tires...

Yeah i'll be heading to Gateway Int. Raceway to see what it will do. It lacks the bottom end to run a good time in the high gears.

Seeing that it needs suspension, i haven't run it all out yet. I would say the fastest i have been is 125 with it.
