I remember finding them on here a few years back but can't find them now What are the stock bar specs for the 400s (like pullback, heigth, etc.)? I'm looking into getting pro tapers and I want the same/similar bend just higher.

I don't know what the stock specs are, but I used to run 7/8" Renthals in 400EX bend. They were pretty darn close to stock if not the same.

Here's the specs for the Renthal 400EX bend (mm's):

A - Width: 790
B - Height: 142
C - Rise: 105
D - Clamp Area: 200
E - Sweep: 90

Here's all the bends for Protaper's 7/8" bars, i'm sure you can find something similar:

Go for the protaper 7/8's. Id imagine the high's are the ones that would fit you best. Very comfortable and durable bars, look awesome too.

1 1/8 bars will need a different clamp, your stock clamps only fit a 7/8 bar. I think I've used some atv pro-taper s/e mids and they were nice

What bend are you considering?

You shouldn't have a problem with cable length since there's not many bars taller than stock out there.....especially when you are looking at 1 1/8" fat bars. The most you should have to do is disconnect the bolt holding the front brake line to the steering stem to get some extra slack. That's if you are still running a stock brake line.

I have the pro taper se high bend and the lines are tight but still work.
