Maier One Piece and Quad Tech hoods

I hear that a Quad Tech hood will fit on a Maier One piece front end.

My question is does it look good.

Can you guys that have done it post up pictures? What did you do to clean it up.



I have thougha bout mounting it down, then cutting out the center of it with a dremel . Id like to not see the plastick through the intake, and also not have any gaps around hood.


So post up pics if you can. I would greatly appreciate it.

i'll snap a few shots next time i'm working on my R. i never mounted my CF hood on my 1 piece front but i can place it on there to get the fitment questions answered.

I don t know about quadtech but the fourwerx i got for xmas only fits the fullbore plstics, but they make them to fit oem/ Maierrace fronts. (now im looking for a set of fullbores! lol) So I bet quad tech is the same way.

I've tried it with my one piece maiers and FW fullbore hood, it was pretty close but not perfect. unfortunately I didn't take pics and I don't have either one anymore...

sorry it took me so long. it fits pretty good. the mounting tabs need to be trimed down so the hood fits flush. i just put it on for the sake of the pictures.

most of my mounting points are broken one the left side so the hood sits more flush there.

you can see here it sits higher because the right side still has the mounting blocks under the hood. if the mounts were shaved down to the contour of the hood, the QT hood would fit great.
