I am in Grand Rapids right now and yesterday it was snowing so hard it looked like a blizzard. You couldnt see 15 feet in front of your car. I hope my flight goes out today as planned. There is nothing to do here at night and wouldnt want to be stuck here for another day.

michigan is god! lol just kiddin they have so many places to ride near grand rapids is soooooo sweet i wanna live there............:D

Wow you said the people in grd are nice, i think thats a first. lol jk Yeah they get dumped on over there usually i believe they get over 300 inches of snow a year because of the lake affect. Here is a picture of the main road here last night, i'm about an hour northeast of grd.

I'm in GR, and you are correct. It was snowing like @#$% last night. At about 9:15PM I looked out my front window, and I could not see the road that is 15 feet in front of my house. I could barely see the sidewalk. I was just glad that I was not going anywhere. However, I had to climb over 4 feet of snow to get out of my house this morning. Yesterday morning, just driving up 196 then 131, we saw three accidents and one of the accidents had a police car wrecked at the site. It was not a good time to be on the road. But if you are in downtown GR, there's lots of things to do. Heck even in the suburbs you can find lots of stuff. If you can't, then you are not looking very hard.

yeah that was in the 2000 3/4ton chevy. Those drifts seemed a lot bigger today in my s-10. lol

The ol chevy is a tank. This shows the snow coming down on the freeway.

lol i think the ol chevy is the only truck you wont lose in a pothole there! lol my quad and i would drown in one.......................:eek:

Michigan is the only state where you can confuse a pothole with a lake.

Where can you ride in Grand Rapids, its mostly city aint it?
