er,light switch questions

Ok i searched and found nothing but anyways i have a 07 er, im not running a brake light or taillight, i have a killswitch(Tether kind) installed(PO did it) so is there any way i can get rid of that big ulgy black light switch box since im not running lights period, and what do i do about the start and kill button then?

Unplug it and toss it..

You can wire in a dirtbike style kill switch for a start button and use the key or your teather for a kill switch.

i put 2 diff style dirtbike buttons on mine one for start and one for stop but like mentioned you only need one for start conect one end to black and the other to yellow/red

any kind of write ups for a tether install, i followed the cable from the one i have down to a plug where its connected to a whit and black wire, ive got the whole start button/kill switch figured out but i cant find out how to wire up a tether or key as the actually kill

If you still have the key switch, 1 wire from tether to ground 1 wire from tether to black wire with white stripe in key switch wires. this is via gt thunder it worked for me.

One wire to ground and splice one wire to the small wire on the coil...

ok so i have a gunar kill switch that connects to a white and black wire on a clear plug i can take pics if thats easier so do i move the killswitch wire to the orgianl kill switch wire? And the db kill to my orgianl start button wire?

ok so i found out where the cable goes to, it its spliced into the black and white wire that connects to the plug where the plug off the lights/kill/start box goes, now, im guessing i un splice my gunar kill where it is right now and connect it into the cables for the orginal switch before the male part of the plug is instead of female like it is? Also i connect the db kill as my start the same way into the old start button wires?

if so then yes.... use the old stop wire for kill and the old start wires for you start switch
