New case??

At some point when dissasembling my motor I allowed the cam chain to get wadded up and spin around taking out this little chunk that holds the guide into place.

Do you guys think I could get away with running this? A new case is like 200-300 bux.

ive heard of guys running like this for long time however i have seen a good welder build that up and then dremel it into shape.. do it while u have it apart.. theres a whole thread over on the org.

you would prolly be ok, but i wouldnt risk it, find the piece that broke and get a good welder to fill it up, if not give east coast atv a call and ask for dave he has a ton of good cases,tell him tony sent you

I have seen them running without any locator- the chain will guide it! Yours has plenty on it to locate!
