Aluminum. I shop the Carbon Element and this I couldn't really see spending the extra $$ for carbon.

nice nice, ive been looking at one of those myself, either that or an alpha elite or a bowtech specialist for an outdoor bow this year...

i have short draw length, so the specialist uses the binary overdrive cams off the destroyers, plus the perfectly straight riser, should be a really sweet shooting bow.

what arrows you gonna be shooting?

The specialist is a sweet looking bow in white.

As for now I am shooting the Gold Tip XT hunters. Probably use Eastons or Victory.

ya, ive shot hoyt almost exclusively for over 10 years now while i was competing. Im not contemplating testing the waters of some other companies and im really like the specialist (in white i must agree) and some of the bows that pse is offering..

right now i have have my pro38 and my protec set up for dot shooting with 2512's...tried the 2712's, but my draw length isnt long enough and the arrow shaft is way to weak

This is my second bow I brought, it was a choice between a Matthews Z7 or this. IMO it blew it out of the water. I really liked the look of the destroyer but never tested it. Where did you use to shoot comp. I am trying to find places where I can do 3d. Got any tips?

i used to compete full time when i was in high school all over the country...i never shot 3d tournaments much but i shot indoor naa, nfaa, and psaa shoots, and then i would should fita tournaments outside...i have competed to much since i went to college though, but i graduate in may and look to get back into it full time...

honestly, you are on the polar opposite side of the state from me. i live in erie nine months out of the year, so i dont know about in your area. but if your looking for tournaments, go to your local shop, they should know of any 3d or indoor shoots in your area.

you can also check on www.archerytalk.com on their forums, they have sections dedicated to local areas for shoots. great place to learn from people, meet enthusiasts, and buy used equipment.

archery is honestly my favorite sport next to skiing. i love it, but i can become really stressful when you get serious into competing...enjoy it though

Yea, I've been a member of that site for a few years until I lost my user name :p. I'll have to stop by the shop and talk to them. They have a small dart league there that I'll try out if there is a spot open. But I gotta agree with you, archery is one of my favorite sports going. :macho
