A friend of mine has been rebuilding his motor. We were hoping to get it all finished last night. Got the pistion in, cylinder on, head on......the the problems started. We put his new timing chain in starting at the bottom in the case but we can't get the chain to go over BOTH cams. We worked on it for a good three hours last night just to finally call it a night and see what we could figure out today. If anyone knows something we don't please lemme know i would be very grateful.....o yea it's a predator 500

Remove your tensioner to allow plenty of slack! install chain at the bottom sprocket first and then around the exhaust cam... intake cam last. Make sure to align gold links on chain with engine on TDC!http://serve.mysmiley.net/sign/sign0111.gif (http://www.mysmiley.net)
