If a 14 is stock, then with the 13 you will have some more bottom end, but less top end

I think you might be happier with a 14 but who knows, the 13 might work out for you, gearing will be awfully short

the question is do you need more torque??? sometimes even if you stay in third gear the whole time having longer gears is not a bad idea. having more torque might actually make you less effective if you cant keep the power to the ground.

well i just need to get in the high RPMs faster and lets just say that the stocker is trashed and so was the chain, i had to get a new chain too lol

I have 14t front and 38 rear and no matter what I max out 1st and 2nd way to easy. I originally had 15t and 38t and found it ok but lacking a bit evenw ith the 416 (maybe a stage 1 cam woulda been better than a stg 2 in my case).

So I bought went back to a 15t and a 39t and hoping its a happy medium.

Changing the front is very drastic change, for every 1 tooth you go down or up in the front equals 3 teeth in the rear. I tried a 16t, tons of speed but no torque.
